LuVerne man killed in accident

One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident Saturday. Dennis Hefty, 61, was the passenger in a Dodge Ram 2500 truck traveling northbound on Kossuth County Road P60 at about 3:50 a.m., when the vehicle dropped off the east shoulder, according to information from the Kossuth County Sheriff's Office.
